I currently have this healthy/unhealthy obsession with Blue Hawaii’s acai bowls. Mix in Hawaii’s endless summer weather, a craving for something light, and guilt from bad eating habits and ordering an acai bowl just makes sense. Food talk aside, it’s been a busy and exciting week for me. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on a couple of projects with some fun and creative people that has, for the most part, wrapped and I can’t wait to share it with you all.
(Part 2 of the previous post)
After the hike and crashing for 2 hours, my best friend had her birthday dinner. Rarely do all of my friends have the time to get together for anything so getting the majority of them for dinner was a feat. The food was delicious, the conversations were great, overall a night that was much needed (we also exchanged secret santa gifts).
One of the highlights of the night was finding out that the birthday girl’s sister, who lives in New York, called the restaurant and ordered a bottle of champagne and 3 orders of each dessert for her; We all agreed that she’s awesome.
Afterwards, we did what any newly turned 21 year-old would do on their birthday, get drunk.
You don’t understand how much I’ve missed having this on an almost weekly basis. Is it so wrong to love food this much?
